I am comfortable.
A human being drifts through space. Everything is under control. The body doesn’t move, the voice works, the systems are running. So why does it feel so damn uncomfortable? Boring Orbits is a musical performance about an astronaut who has said goodbye to everything human – love, chaos, the body, and perhaps even the need to feel anything at all. Through electronic voice, sound, repetition, and minimal movement, a strangely funny yet unsettling cosmos emerges. Questions from the worlds of popes, presidents, and pop stars collide with a man who has long since decided to stop playing along. The longer he circles in his orbit, the more language and song, human and machine, control and loss of control begin to blur. A minimalist sci-fi performance about control, loneliness, and the question: what happens when we finally have everything under control?

I am comfortable.
